WASHINGTON—United States Senator Bill Hagerty (R-TN) yesterday joined The Ingraham Angle on Fox News to discuss the ruinous consequences of Biden’s border crisis and how the elimination of Title 42 by the Administration will only add fuel to the fire.

Hagerty on why Title 42 needs to stay in effect: “Well, the first thing we’re going to do is try to hold the line on Title 42. I was down at the border for the past three days. I took a group of eight sheriffs and mayors from Tennessee. We’re seeing the results of this in our home state every day—deaths by fentanyl. The Chinese Communist Party is back in business now with the major cartels down in Mexico, and they’re killing our kids. We went to the border to see what was happening. Three days we spent there. This is a disaster. The human avalanche that’s coming; it’s already on the way.”
Hagerty on the need for the establishment media to begin covering the crisis unfolding at our own border: “Laura, I woke up Sunday morning to read my newsfeed, and I found a story about an open grave that they’d found near Kyiv—300 bodies there. That’s a terrible story. But when you look at how many people we lost on Saturday night to overdoses, to drug overdoses, how many American youth we lost—the same number of people. The media are going to talk about this open grave, you know, all day, and you know, and into the week, but no one’s talking—thank you for bringing this to the attention of the public. We’ve got to talk about this more.”
Hagerty on the Biden Administration’s pandemic hypocrisy and the consequences of ending Title 42: “It’s as if the Biden Administration wants to have their cake and eat it too, I guess, because they want to maintain the pandemic, they want to keep using those powers for the programs they want, but they want to argue that it’s not here when they want to lift Title 42 and again, create this avalanche of human beings coming across the border. It’ll be far more drugs. I know the Chinese Communist Party and the big cartels in Mexico are ramping up drug production right now because May the 23rd—that’s when they got their gold-plated invitation from [President] Joe Biden—they’re going to be flooding the border again. You know, Laura, one of the border patrol agents told me this weekend, he said these cartels are making billions of dollars, along with their partners in China. China and the cartels should make Joe Biden the employee of the year for 2021. I couldn’t agree more.”
